FOR DIARRHOEA
Blueberry tea
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon or 3 tablespoons blueberries
- 500 ml water
Method
- Use 500 ml boiling water per tablespoon blueberries and leave to infuse for 12 hours.
- Alternatively, boil 3 tablespoons blueberries for 10 minutes in 500 ml water.
FOR LOSS OF APPETITE
Ginger and orange tea with yarrow and horehound
Ingredients
Prepare this tea mixture (some chemists may be able to prepare it for you)
- 30 g bitter orange peel
- 30 g yarrow
- 30 g ginger root
- 30 g horehound
Method
- Use 250 ml boiling water per teaspoon of tea.
- Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
FOR NAUSEA
Ginger tea
Ingredients
- 250 ml water
- 4 slices of fresh ginger (about 50 mm thick)
Method
- Boil the water.
- Pour the boiled water over the slices of ginger.
- Leave to infuse for 5 to 10 minutes.
FOR DRY MOUTH
Marshmallow tea
Ingredients
(This blend of tea may be available from your chemist)
- 2 or 3 teaspoons marshmallow tea
- 500 ml water
Method
- Use 500 ml boiling water per 2 to 3 teaspoons of tea.
- Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
FOR DRY MOUTH
Sage tea
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves
- 250 ml water
Method
- Boil 1 teaspoon dried sage leaves in 250 ml water.
- Leave to infuse for 10 minutes.
