How cancer gets a blood supply

This video shows how a tumour gets its own blood supply. The tumour sends chemical signals to a blood vessel, causing new vessels to grow. These bring blood to the tumour to supply it with food and oxygen, and allow cancer cells to spread to other parts of the body.
